Hoa Binh Construction and Real Estate Corporation (HBC) on Wednesday started work on three new construction packages with the contract value of over 330 billion dong in HCM City, Danang City and Tra Vinh Province.
With the first package worth 250 billion dong kicked off on Wednesday, HBC is building a basement for the Sunrise City project located in District 7 and invested by Nova Real Estate Investment Corporation (Novaland). Sunrise City is a complex of apartments and commercial center and consists of four buildings with 31 to 35 floors each.
HBC is also the main contractor of a Vissan supermarket in Danang City’s Cam Le District. This project is scheduled for operation late this year.
Besides, HBC on Wednesday also began work on a supporting package worth over 80 billion dong of the Duyen Hai 1 thermal power project in the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh. This is the third industrial package that HBC has commenced since early this year, after two packages of the Mong Duong thermal power project in Quang Ninh Province and Casumina’s radial tire plant in Binh Duong Province.
The shareholder meeting of HBC this year held late last month targeted to obtain 3.9 trillion dong in revenues, 170 billion dong in after-tax profits and a dividend of 30% this year. - Source: Saigon Times
